How many species of sloth are there?:
There are two genera's of sloths, the two toed sloth and the three toed sloth. The differences between those two is that one species of sloth has two toes and the other has three toes. One of the other major differences is that the the three toed sloths have nine vertebrates, and the two toed sloth only has about six or seven vertabrates. Also the three toed sloth is more active during the day than the two toed sloth, and the two toed sloth moves more frequently through the trees.
